The Washington Capitals will be looking to win their third straight Wednesday Night Hockey matchup of this young season as they host the New York Rangers. The Rangers who are coming to DC off of a shootout win last night, look to extend their winning streak, while the Capitals are looking to end their two game skid.

The Capitals played a great first 2 periods against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night, but their third period was abysmal. The Capitals will needvto play a full 60 minutes against the Rangers who are playing in their second game of a back to back.

 

2. Generate traffic in front of Henrik Lundqvist

Lundqvist will playing for the second consecutive night for the Rangers, and the Capitals will need to generate traffic in front of him, and make him work to tire him out.
