Today the Ottawa Senators acquired forward Vladislav Namestnikov from the New York Rangers.

In return the Rangers will receive a 2021 4th Round Pick and defender Nick Ebert. The Rangers will also be retaining $750k of Namestnikov’s salary.
Namestnikov, 26, has played in 362 career NHL games for the Tampa Bay Lightning and Rangers, and recorded 66 goals and 92 assists for 158 points. Namestnikov is a former first round selection (27th overall) of the Lightning in 2011.
