      • In Philadelphia, the Flyers play host to the Stars. In the first, Dallas gets a pair of goals when Matěj Blümel scores his first career NHL goal and then Esa Lindell scores his second to take the 2-0 lead. In the second, Travis Konecny nets his sixth to put the Flyers on the board but then Joe Pavelski scores his eighth of the year on a Dallas power play to give the Stars the 3-1 lead. In the third, a shorthanded goal by Luke Glendening, his second goal of the year, puts Dallas up by three and then a Jason Robertson power play goal, his 10th goal of the season, caps the game as the Stars breeze by the the Flyers with the 5-1 win.

      • In Beantown, the Bruins host the Canucks for the lone time on the season. In the first period, Connor Clifton’s second of the year gives Boston the 1-0 lead but then a J.T. Miller power play goal, his ninth goal of the season, ties the game for Vancouver. Patrice Bergeron then scores a power play goal of his own, his eighth of the year, gives the Bruins the 2-1 lead.     • Arizona Coyotes v. New York Rangers – 7p ET
      • In New York City, the Coyotes visit Broadway to take on New York for the lone time on the 2022-23 season. After a scoreless first, the Rangers get a pair of goals when Barclay Goodrow and Adam Fox score. In the third, Chris Kreider nets his seventh of the year on a Rangers power play but then Clayton Keller scores on the Arizona power play, his sixth, to get the Yotes on the board. Ryan Carpenter scores for his first goal of the season as the Rangers go on to down the Coyotes 4-1

      • In Tampa Bay, the Lightning look to strike the Capitals. In the first, Tampa gets a quartet of goals when Mikhail Sergachev scores a pair of goals, one on a Tampa Bay power play, Nikita Kucherov scoring on a Lightning power play, and Nick Perbix scoring to give the Bolts the 4-0 lead. In the second, Conor Sheary’s sixth of the year puts Washington on the board. In the third, Cole Koepke scores his first career NHL goal to give the Lightning the 5-1 lead but then a Lars Eller goal cuts the Tampa lead to three.     • Winnipeg Jets v. Seattle Kraken** – 8p ET
      • In the Emerald City, the Kraken play host to the Jets in a Western Conference battle. In the first, a Jordan Eberle power play goal, his fourth goal of the year, gives Seattle the 1-0 lead. In the second, Winnipeg ties it up when Mark Scheifele scores on the Jets power play, good for his ninth of the year. In the third, Brandon Tanev nets his fourth of the year to put Seattle back up by a goal but with four seconds remaining in regulation, Blake Wheeler scores on the power play, his fourth of the year, to make this a 2-2 game. In overtime, Mark Scheifele scores his second of the night as the Jets down the Kraken 3-2.

    • The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that Washington’s Nicolas Aube-Kubel has been suspended for three games for an Illegal Check to the Head on Tampa Bay’s Cal Foote.

    • The Tempe, Arizona City Council announced late Thursday night that they have unanimously voted to send the Coyotes proposed hockey arena and entertainment district to referendum, residents will be able to vote in a special election in May. Had the opportunity to push it to August but decided on the earlier date.

      • In Beantown, the Bruins play host to the Flames. Then on Nov. 3rd Karlsson would record a goal and two assists in a 4-3 shootout loss to Florida, and to close out the week he would record an assist in another shootout loss, this time 5-4 to Anaheim on Nov. 5th.
