    • Washington Capitals v. Philadelphia Flyers – 7p ET
      • In Philadelphia the Washington Capitals would come to town to finish their six game road trip as they take on the Flyers, and in the first period Kevin Hayes would open up the scoring to give the Flyers the 1-0 lead. In the second period TJ Oshie would strike on the powerplay to tie the game at one for the Caps. Then in the third period Dylan Strome would score to give the Caps the lead, and Alex Ovechkin would net a pair of empty netters for his 794th and 795th career NHL goals to give the Capitals the 4-1 victory over the Flyers.

    • Buffalo Sabres v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 730p ET
      • In Columbus the Blue Jackets would look to calm the Buffalo Sabres, but in the first period Dylan Cozens and Rasmus Dahlin would score while Tage Thompson would score four goals for the Sabres to bulldoze over the Jackets 6-0. In the second period Patrik Laine and Gustav Nyquist would strike for the Jackets, but Thompson would net his fifth of the game and Peyton Krebs and Alex Tuch would score to give the Sabres the commanding 9-2 lead. Then in the third period Laine and Nyquist would both net their second goals of the game, but it would not be enough as the Sabres would defeat the Blue Jackets 9-4.

    • Minnesota Wild v. Calgary Flames – 8p ET
      • In Calgary the Flames would host the Minnesota Wild while rocking their Reverse Retro jerseys, and in the first period Kirill Kaprizov and Mason Shaw would score to give the Wild the 2-0 lead. In the second period Nazem Kadri, Blake Coleman, and Tyler Toffoli would score to give the Flames the 3-2 lead. Then in the third period Jon Merill would score for the Wild to tie the game, but Rasmus Andersson would score 12 seconds later and Toffoli would net his second of the game to give the Flames the 5-3 victory over the Wild.

      • In Colorado the Avalanche would take on the Boston Bruins, and after a scoreless first period David Pastrnak and Taylor Hall would strike to give the B’s the 2-0 lead. Then in the third period Trent Frederic would score and Hall would net his second of the game to give the Bruins the 4-0 victory over the Avalanche.

    • Arizona Coyotes v. Edmonton Oilers – 930p ET
      • In Edmonton the Oilers would play host to the Arizona Coyotes, and in the first period Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Derek Ryan would score to give the Oilers the 2-0 lead. In the second period Leon Draisaitl would score to give the Oilers the three goal lead, but Jack McBain would score to get the Yotes on the board and back within two. However, Nugent-Hopkins would net his second of the game and Brett Kulak would score to give the Oilers the four goal lead before the end of the second period.       • In Vegas the New York Rangers would continue their road trip as they would take on the Golden Knights, and in the first period Kaapo Kakko would strike to give the Rangers the 1-0 lead. In the second period Jonathan Marchessault would score for the Knights to tie the game at one. Then in the third period Mika Zibanejad would net a pair of goals while Filip Chytil and Alexis Lafreniere would give the Rangers the 5-1 victory over the Golden Knights.

    • Vancouver Canucks v. San Jose Sharks – 1030p ET
      • In San Jose it would be a Reverse Retro battle between the Sharks and the Vancouver Canucks, and in the first period Nick Bonino would open the scoring for the Sharks, but Dakota Joshua would strike for a pair of goals to give the Canucks the 2-1 lead. In the second period both teams would record a pair of goals as Timo Meier and Logan Couture would score for the Sharks while NilsHoglander and Ilya Mikheyev would score to keep the Canucks ahead by one. Then in the third period Jonah Gadjovich and Kevin Labanc would score to give the Sharks the 5-4 lead, but Andrei Kuzmenko would score on the powerplay to tie the game at five for the Canucks. In Overtime Elias Pettersson would score with 35 seconds left in the extra frame to give the Canucks the 6-5 victory over the Sharks.

Then in the second period Nico Hischier and Jesper Bratt would score to give the Devils the 3-0 victory over the Blackhawks.

In the second period Kevian Fiala would score to grow the Kings lead to four.       • On Long Island the St. Louis Blues would come to town to take on the New York Islanders, and in the first period both teams would trade goals as Josh Leivo would score for the Blues while Noah Dobson would score for the Isles for the 1-1 tie. In the second period Ivan Barbashev and Ryan O’Reilly would score for the Blues to take the 3-1 lead. Then in the third period Zach Parise, Hudson Faschling, and Jean-Gabriel Pageau would score for the Isles, but a pair of goals from Noel Acciari and tallies from Colton Parayko and Robert Thomas would give the Blues the 7-4 victory over the Islanders.

      • In Dallas the Toronto Maple Leafs would come to town to take on the Jason Robertson and the Stars, and in the first period John Tavares and Auston Matthews would score to give the Leafs the 2-0 lead. In the second period Rasmus Sandin would score to grow the Leafs lead to three. Then in the third period Alexander Kerfoot would score to give the Maple Leafs the 4-0 victory over the Stars.

    • Carolina Hurricanes v. Anaheim Ducks – 10p ET
      • In Anaheim the Carolina Hurricanes would look to rain Ducks parade, and in the first period Brady Skjei would strike for the Canes, but goals from Adam Henrique and Max Comtois would give the Ducks the 2-1 lead. In the second period Sebastian Aho would score to tie it for the Canes, but Brett Leason would score to retake the lead for the Ducks. However, before the second period would end Jordan Staal would score to tie the game again fort he Canes. Then after a scoreless third period it would be Ryan Strome with the winner as the Ducks would go on to defeat the Hurricanes 4-3 in overtime.

    • Montreal Canadiens v. Seattle Kraken – 10p ET
      • In Seattle the Kraken would play host to the Montreal Canadiens, and in the first period we would see two guys score their first career NHL goals as Johnathan Kovacevic would score for the Habs and Shane Wright would strike for the Kraken for the 1-1 tie. In the second period Cole Caufield, Josh Anderson, and Rem Pitlick would score to give the Habs the 4-1 lead. Jared McCann would score for the Kraken late in the second period, but a scoreless third period would give the Canadiens the 4-2 victory over the Kraken.

    • Colorado Avalanche v. Philadelphia Flyers – 7p ET
      • In Philadelphia, the Flyers host the Avalanche for the lone time on the 2022-23 season. In the first, Alex Newhook’s power play goal, his fifth goal on the year, gives Colorado the 1-0 lead but then a pair of Philadelphia goals from Travis Sanheim, his third, and Tanner Laczynski, his second, make this a 2-1 Flyers lead. In the second, Tony DeAngelo’s fourth on the year gives Philadelphia the 3-1 lead. In the third, Owen Tippett’s power play goal, his seventh of the year, gives Philly the three goal lead but then a pair of goals from Mikko Rantanen and Alex Newhook brings the Avs within a goal. Finally, Travis Konecny nets his 10th of the year as the Flyers down the Avalanche 5-3.
    • St. Louis Blues v. New York Rangers – 7p ET
      • In New York, the Rangers look to send St. Louis back home feeling Blue. In the first, Braden Schneider’s third of the year puts the Rangers up 1-0 but then Pavel Buchnevich’s ninth ties it up for St. Louis. Adam Fox then scores his seventh of the year, a power play goal, to put the Blueshirts back up by a goal. In the second, Vladimir Tarasenko’s seventh of the year evens the score for St. Louis but then Vincent Trocheck’s ninth of the year makes this a 3-2 New York lead. Jordan Kyrou’s 10th of the year, a power play goal, evens the score for the Blues and then Ryan O’Reilly’s eighth of the year gives the Blues the 4-3 lead. In the third, K’Andre Miller’s first of the year ties it up for the Rangers and then New York takes the 5-4 lead with Alexis Lafrenière’s fourth of the year. Finally, Chris Kreider’s shorthanded goal, his 13th goal of the year, gives the Rangers the 6-4 win over the Blues.
    • Vegas Golden Knights v. Boston Bruins – 7p ET
      • In Beantown, the Golden Knights look to stop the 14 game home win streak of the Bruins. In the first, Vegas gets a pair of goals when Paul Cotter scores his third and then Jonathan Marchessault nets his 10th. In the second, Vegas takes the 3-0 lead with Paul Cotter’s second of the night but then Boston gets on the board with Brad Marchand’s eighth of the year. A David Pastrnak goal, his 17th on the year, will bring the Bruins within a goal. In the third, Taylor Hall’s power play goal, his ninth of the season, ties it up for Boston. In the shootour, Vegas’ Reilly Smith scores the lone goal and that gives the Golden Knights the 4-3 win over the Bruins.
    • Washington Capitals v. Edmonton Oilers – 830p ET
      • In Edmonton, the Capitals look to escape with their first win in Edmonton since the 2017-18 season. After a scoreless first, Edmonton takes the 1-0 lead when Brett Kulak strikes with his first of the season but then Lars Eller evens it up with his fourth of the season. Connor McDavid then scores a shorthanded goal, his 22nd goal of the year, to give the Oilers the lead once again but then T.J. Oshie ties the contest up when he strikes on the extra man advantage, his fourth goal of the year. In the third, Nic Dowd nets his fourth of the year as the Capitals escape with the 3-2 win over the Oilers.
    • Arizona Coyotes v. Calgary Flames – 9p ET
      • In the Saddledome, Calgary hosts the Coyotes for the lone time on the year. In the first, Dillon Dube scores his fifth of the year to give the Flames the 1-0 lead and then Elias Lindholm scores on the power play, his ninth of the year, to give Calgary the 2-0 lead. In the second, Arizona gets on the board when Shayne Gostisbehere scores his fifth of the year. In the third, Arizona ties it up with Jakob Chychrun’s third of the year and then Nazem Kadri’s ninth of the year, on the power play, gives the Flames the 3-2 win over the Coyotes.
    • Montreal Canadiens v. Vancouver Canucks – 1030p ET
      • In Western Canada, Vancouver hosts Montreal in a Canadian rivalry match-up. In the first, Montreal takes the 1-0 lead when Cole Caufield scores his 14th of the year and then Nick Suzuki makes it a 2-0 Montreal lead when he scores his 14th of the year. A Sean Monahan goal, his sixth of the season, gives the Habs the 3-0 lead and then Montreal takes the commanding 4-0 lead when Michael Pezzetta scores his first of the season. In the second, Vancouver gets on the board when Conor Garland scores his fourth of the year and then Ilya Mikheyev nets his seventh of the year to bring the Canucks within two. In the third, Bo Horvat scores his 20th of the year and then Ilya Mikheyev scores his second of the night to even this contest 4-4. Jack Studnicka then scores his second of the year to give the Canucks their first lead of the night. Montreal then ties it up when Christian Dvorak scores his fifth goal and then the Habs re-take the lead when a goal is credited to Josh Anderson. Vancouver then makes this a 6-6 game when Andrei Kuzmenko nets his 12th of the year on the power play. In overtime, Elias Pettersson scores his 12th of the year as the Canucks defeat the Canadiens 7-6.

    NHL Stars of the Week – McDavid Continues to Shine

    Today the National Hockey League announced their Three Stars of the Week for the week of November 28th through December 4th.

    First Star – Connor McDavid (C – EDM)

    • Connor McDavid would continue his amazing season with five goals and six assists for 11 points in four games played for the Edmonton Oilers. To start the week McDavid would record a goal and two assists in a 403 victory over Florida on Nov. 28th, and on Nov. 30th he would record a goal and an assist in a 5-4 victory over Chicago. Then on Dec. 1st against Minnesota he would also record a goal and an assist in a 5-3 loss, and to finish the week McDavid would record two goals and two assists in a 5-3 victory over Montreal.

    Second Star – Dylan Cozens (C – BUF)

    • Dylan Cozens would record four goals and five assists for nine points in four games for the Buffalo Sabres. To start the week Cozens would record a goal in a 6-5 overtime loss to Tampa Bay on Nov. 28th, and on Nov. 30th he would record two goals in a 5-4 shootout victory over Detroit. Then on Dec. 1st he would record a goal and two assists in a 6-4 loss to Colorado, and to close out the week Cozens would record three assists in a 6-3 victory over San Jose on Dec. 4th.

    Third Star – Jason Robertson (LW – DAL)

    • Jason Robertson would continue to have an amazing start to his season as he would record five goals and an assist for six points in three games for the Dallas Stars. Robertson would start the week with a goal in a 4-1 victory over St. Louis on Nov. 28th, and on Dec. 1st he would record his third career hat trick in a 5-0 victory over Anaheim. To close out the week with a goal and an assist in a 6-5 loss to Minnesota on Dec. 4th.

      • In Winnipeg for some afternoon hockey the Jets would play host to the Anaheim Ducks, and in the first period Jakob Silfverberg would score to give the Ducks the 1-0 lead. In the second period Brett LEason would score to give the Ducks the 2-0 lead, but goals from Saku Maenalanen and Dylan Samberg would tie the game at two for the Jets. Then in the third period Morgan Barron, Mark Scheifele, and Nate Schmidt would score to give the Jets the 5-2 victory over the Ducks.
