TXHT Jersey Share – The Mighty Duck

Today in TXHT Jersey Share we will be taking a look at the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim’s original jersey from their beginning years in the NHL.

    Mighty Ducks Away Purple 1996.jpg

This is a really cool jersey as it was one of the first jerseys to really shake things up on how jerseys are designed. Plus the color scheme that was used is very unique and one that is missed to this day (sorry Anaheim, but you screwed the pooch with your 25th Anniversary jersey). Once again like with the San Jose Sharks jersey, this was one that I had a as kid, and replaced once it became available again. Definitely a cool jersey.

TXHT Jersey Share – A Jersey from Childhood

Today in the TXHT Jersey Share series we take a look back at a jersey that I have owned since it was first purchased for me by my father, and that is this Mighty Ducks of Anaheim jersey.

Mighty Ducks Home White 1996 Youth

Fun fact is that my father bought me both the home and away jerseys for the Mighty Ducks, but the major difference between them was the fact that the away jersey (they wore their dark uniforms on the road in the 1990’s) was more authentic as the Ducks emblem was sewn on patch rather than the screen print you see for this one. Still really cool, even more cool that I still have it after all of these years.

Scary fact… I can still fit into this jersey…
