- Montreal Canadiens head coach Claude Julien has been rushed to the hospital after suffering chest pains per General Manager Marc Bergevin.
- Also per Bergevin, Julien’s health issue is not related to COVID-19
- Kirk Muller will serve as interim head coach in Julien’s absence.

Columbus Blue Jackets v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 3p EST Start Time
To kick off the day full of Game 2’s, the Blue Jackets and Lightning start things off. In the first period Nikita Kucherov would score 5:24 into the game to take the 1-0 for Tampa, but Ryan Murray would score his first of the postseason to tie the game at one. Then late in the first while on the powerplay Oliver Bjorkstrand would score to give the Jackets the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period Alexander Wennberg would score the insurance goal as the Blue Jackets would tie the series at one with the 3-1 victory.

Chicago Blackhawks v. Vegas Golden Knights – 530p EST Start Time
Out west in Edmonton the Golden Knights look to grow their series lead over the Blackhawks. In the first period Vegas would strike first as Paul Stastny and Tomas Nosek would score to give the Knights the 2-0 lead. Then in the second period the Blackhawks would heat up as Kirby Dach, Dominik Kubalik (PPG), and Dylan Strome would score to get on the board, but Mark Stone would score to keep the Knights in it and tied at three. After a scoreless third period it would be Reilly Smith scoring 7:13 into overtime to give the Knights the 4-3 victory and the 2-0 series lead.

Carolina Hurricanes v. Boston Bruins – 8p EST Start Time
Back in Toronto the Hurricanes and Bruins got to start on time for Game 2. In the first period Boston would strike first as David Krejci would score on the powerplay to take the 1-0 lead. Then in the second period the Hurricanes would start getting their game going, and late in the period Teuvo Teravainen would strike on the powerplay to tie the game at one, then Andrei Svechnikov would score to give the Hurricanes the 2-1 lead. However, with 3.8 seconds left in the second Brad Marchand would score on the powerplay to tie the game at two. Then int he third period Dougie Hamilton would take advantage of the chaos in Boston’s zone to score and retake the lead for the Hurricanes and secure the 3-2 victory to tie the series at one.

Calgary Flames v. Dallas Stars – 1030p EST Start Time
For the final game of the day the Flames look to grow their series lead over the Stars. In the first period Dillon Dube would strike 19 seconds into the game to give the Flames the 1-0 lead, but Tyler Seguin would strike a little over two minutes later to tie the game at one. Then later in the period Miro Heiskanen would score to give the Stars the 2-1 lead. In the second period Heiskanen would net his second of the game to grow the Stars lead to two, but Derek Forbort would score to bring the Flames back within one. However, Corey Perry would strike for the Stars as they retake the two goal lead. Then in the third period the Flames would heat up as they would get goals from Tobias Rieder (SHG) and Sam Bennett (PPG) to tie the game at four, but with 40 seconds left int he game Jamie Oleksiak would score to lift the Stars past the Flames 5-4 and tie the series at one.
