Game Recap:

In their first game of a back to back the Washington Capitals would play host to the Ottawa Senators. In the first period the Senators would clog things up for the Capitals and as a result would take advantage and get the first goal of the game with Artem Anisimov’s eighth of the season.

 

Then in the second period it would become all Washington as TJ Oshie, Radko Gudas, and Alex Ovechkin would all score in the first period to take a commanding 3-1 lead. To cap it all off in the third period both Oshie and Ovechkin would both score their second of the game, and Lars Eller would net his 11th of the season to give the Capitals the 6-1 victory.
